Augustus Burgdorf and Mary Anne Hodgson

Augustus Burgdorf and Mary Anne Hodgson were married 1880 and had their first child John Daniel Augustus in 1881 so the date of this photo is around 1879.
She was a widow to George Albert Thompson who died in a mining accident, after being married about a year.
Their marriage certificate shows she had a child before marrying Augustus however the child died before her second marriage.
When they married a year after this photo, he was 23 and a draper, she was 22 and a teacher.
